Key takeaway
Sabil l'Ikram handles the agreed service: grave verification, scheduling, care, quality control and reporting to the family.
A one-off visit can be ordered without a subscription. For recurring care, the number of visits, included tasks and deliverables are agreed before commitment.
- One-off visit or recurring care.
- Before-and-after photos when permitted.
- No additional work without your approval.
- Designed for families in Morocco and Moroccans abroad.
How does the service work?
-
01
You provide the first details
Provide the deceased person’s name, cemetery, city and any available landmark. A photo or GPS location can speed up verification but is not required at first contact.
-
02
We verify the grave and access conditions
We confirm the location and feasibility. If the position remains uncertain, we first propose a clearly priced search scope.
-
03
We define the service
Before committing, you know the planned tasks, frequency, options, reporting method and applicable price.
-
04
We perform and check the work
Our team schedules the visit, checks the completed work and documents the agreed elements.
-
05
You receive the report
The family contact receives the report and agreed media. If a repair is recommended, no additional work begins without approval.
What Sabil l'Ikram handles
Depending on the grave’s condition and cemetery rules, routine care may include:
- Removal of waste from the grave and its immediate surroundings.
- Sweeping, dusting and cleaning suited to the visible material.
- Manual weeding, rinsing and watering when conditions allow.
- Careful repositioning of items already present.
- Visual assessment of the headstone, slab, joints and inscriptions.
- Commemorations
One-off visit or recurring care
A single visit can be arranged before a relative travels, on an important date, after a long period without a visit, to assess the grave or before renovation.
For recurring care, frequency reflects the initial condition, cemetery, exposure to dust or weather, family distance and important dates. Each plan states the number and content of visits.
Minor repairs and renovation
If deterioration is found, we send photos and a description. Painting, inscription work, joint repair, consolidation or stonework requires a separate quotation. Sabil l'Ikram then handles the work after family approval and verification of cemetery rules.
Prayers and recitations requested by the family
At your request, a visit may include a prayer or Quran recitation. Sabil l'Ikram arranges this separately, respectfully and subject to local availability. The fee covers organization and human service; no spiritual outcome can be promised.
A useful and respectful report
Depending on the plan and cemetery rules, the report states the date, completed tasks, any difficulties, observed condition and useful recommendations. It may include before-and-after photos and an agreed short video. Images focus on the grave and are shared only with authorized relatives.
A verified location for future visits
Before recurring care begins, we confirm the correct grave, access and condition. The location file may include the cemetery, entrance, sector or visible landmarks, GPS coordinates, grave and inscription photos, an access landmark, verification date and known restrictions.
What is included and what requires a separate quote
- Depending on the plan: assessment, included verification, checklist, routine supplies, quality control, report and agreed photos.
- By separate quote: extended search, out-of-area travel, specific purchases, stonework, painting, renovation, urgent work or replacement items.
- No additional work or extension begins without approval.
Designed for families abroad
From France, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany or another country, you can request a visit, authorize relatives, receive reports, schedule an important date and obtain a repair quote if deterioration is found.
